A customizable Picotron wallpaper inspired by Pokémon.
I meant to release this on Pokémon Day (February 27)… but here we are, two months later. So instead of pretending I’m on time, let’s call this what it is: A very late Pokémon Day wallpaper drop.

All settings are stored here: /appdata/picomon_bg/settings.pod
(Note: If the cart is sandboxed, the settings are located in the /appdata/bbs/picomon_bg folder.)
To customize the background image appearance, edit the settings.pod file. After making your changes, press Ctrl+S to save. The updates will take effect once you restart the cart or Picotron.
Available Settings
_version: Just the save version, in case I need it in the future. Don’t change this!
bg_color: Background Color - Uses the default Picotron Palette: 0 = black, 7 = white, etc.
gradient: The black gradient border visible on the left and right sides of the image above.
plogo_pos: Position of the Picomon Logo. Type “left”/“center”/“right”. Default is “center”.
plogo_vis: Visibility of the Picomon Logo.
rainb_pos: Position of the Rainbow BG. Type “left”/“center”/“right”. Default is “right”.
rainb_vis: Visibility of the Rainbow BG.
welcome: Welcome Message - Set this to false so that the wallpaper can be used! ✨
Notes
I might add more designs or tweak a few settings later, but I wanted to share this now so you can start using it right away. I’d also love it if you edited the cart and uploaded your own version. Just send it my way, because I’m really curious to see what you come up with!
